The reason Dibond sheets can withstand such pressures is due to its composition. Each sheet consists of a polyethylene veneered with aluminium, which is how it is able to possess the benefits of both a plastic sheet and a metal one The applied aluminium film is given a different finish on either side of the sheet; one side being matte and the other glossy. Both sides can be effectively printed upon, which along with its high-temperature resistance, contributes to its outstanding performance in signage; as well as the fabrication of temporary structures such as kiosks and portable buildings.
