The Lindy 4K30 HDMI and USB over IP system is a powerful solution for creating a wide range of bespoke, distributed AV and KVM installations. The system comprises Encoder (No. 38396) and Decoder (No. 38397) modules and a separate Controller module (No. 38395).. One HDMI source, such as a PC or Media Player, connects to a single Encoder module; one HDMI display connects to a single Decoder module (No. 38397). Multiple Encoders and Decoders can be combined for a variety of multicast distribution options. The controller module is used to manage the full installation and direct the multiple sources to the multiple displays giving maximum creative freedom and customisation options. All the modules can be connected to a 1G managed switch to create a network of connected devices.. Additionally, the system supports USB KVM control access for each connected module, so connected PCs at the Encoder end can be controlled by KVM consoles at the remote Decoder end..
