Trident is a system that simplifies setup due to its rubber grommets. It also has a push-fit fitting and an integrated stand. IWS Trident can be quickly and easily set up in a system without the use of additional components. The root rods, tie back rings, and central feed port at the bottom of the pot allow plants to grow stronger and bigger than in traditional pots. Trident also comes with inner cloth pots. How does it work? The IWS minute clock allows the user to set the time and duration for the pumping of nutrient from the FlexiTank into the IWS Control Unit. The Control Unit, connected to the Trident Pots via IWS Pro pipework is directly attached. Gravity feeds nutrients to the Trident Pots as the Control Unit fills. Trident, unlike traditional Flood & Drain Pots, fills the pot from the bottom. This ensures that the roots are fully saturated and prevents them from blocking the pipes. The IWS Trident Pots are filled up until the top float in the IWS Control Unit engages. This stops the flow of water into the FlexiTank. (The float height matches the top of pots to prevent flooding of the system). The Trident Pot can be easily added to any Pro IWS System. Each Trident pot includes a cloth inner container. The inner pot is made of cloth and allows air to flow through the tiny holes. This encourages air pruning which creates a dense root area. The cloth pot is placed on top of the root rods at the base IWS Trident. These rods encourage the roots that break through the cloth pot's walls to wrap around the rods and prevent them from growing down the pipe. Trident pots have tie-back rings on the outer rim. They allow the grower to increase the canopy of the plants by spreading the foliage. Why use the TRIDENT? SIMPLE INSTALLATION IWS Trident can be easily installed without any tools. No Stand Required Trident is different from traditional IWS systems because it has risers built-in. This eliminates the need for an additional stand, and provides ultimate drainage. CLOTH INSER POTS IWS Trident pots are the only IWS pots compatible with a fabric inner pot. Cloth pots increase oxygenation in the root zone, which increases plant strength and growth. ROOT RODS Keep the inner pot away from still water and prevent roots from blocking your feed pipe. BOTTOM FEEDING The central bottom feeding port will be used to feed the plants. This allows for optimal nutrient distribution to the roots. The location of the feed ports allows for maximum drainage. TIE-BACK RINGS Trident pots have tie-back rings on the outer rim.
