The 240mm length is ideal for fixing timber through very thick insulation to masonry, creating heavy-duty structural timber frame connections, and securing components across substantial depths whilst the robust 6mm diameter ensures exceptional holding power and superior resistance to shear and tensile forces throughout the full length. The universally accepted Torx® compatible drive ensures reliable torque transfer and eliminates driver slippage, allowing for confident installation even in the most challenging deep penetration structural applications. Its patented drill and drive thread design reduces splitting whilst preventing the jacking and spinning often experienced with conventional large-diameter long screws. The reinforced countersunk neck delivers superior holding power, whilst recessed ribs ensure improved countersinking with reduced surface dust. Protected by the advanced Elementech 400 coating, these screws offer an anti-corrosive finish that outlasts conventional zinc coatings by up to six times. This environmentally responsible finish contains no Cr6+ and has undergone Salt Spray testing to 400 hours, making it perfect for structural interior environments. Each box of 100 is supplied complete with a Torx® compatible bit for immediate use.
