Clear PETG Plastic Sheet has properties that make it excellent for use around food and other demanding applications such as shielding and displays. PETG Plastic Sheet Key Features: Good impact resistance Weather resistant Does not snap or crack Good light transmission Half the weight of glass Excellent fire rating FDA approved for direct contact with food Wide service temperature Resistant to chemicals 70 times more impact-resistant than glass Supplied with protective film on both sides With light transmission properties of 90%, PETG sheet is the same as glass in this respect, while being half the weight and more impact resistant. Cut to size Clear PETG plastic sheet is also weather resistant so it can be used outdoors for applications such as signage, bus shelters and more. There are also many uses inside, such as vending machines, food counters and point of purchase displays.
