What does SiliconLink do? BudLink Silicon supplies your plants with a form soluble silica, which is naturally found in soils. This is what plants use to build stronger cell walls, which increase their resistance to insects and fungi. BudLink Silicon is a silicon compound that helps build stronger roots and stems. It also aids in the uptake and absorption nutrients. BudLink Silicon helps to reduce water loss from leaves (transpiration), which may help prevent wilting. The plant is more resilient to diseases and biting insects because its cell walls are stronger. BudLink Silicon can also be used to raise pH in nutrient solutions. Recirculating hydroponics requires 2.5 to 5ml/litre nutrient solutions. Use 3ml/litre for drain-to-waste and hand-watering. To ensure the silicone is evenly distributed within your reservoir, mix BudLink Silicon in several litres of water before adding it to the bulk feed-water. BudLink Silicon can increase your TDS (CF/EC/PPM), as well as the pH of the nutrient solution. After adding the BudLink Silicon, it will be necessary for you to adjust your pH and TDS back to the right levels.
