Description

A round base plate and one-handed operation make the Bosch PEX 220 A the ideal sander for fine work on curved surfaces. It also has the power to sand down flat surfaces rapidly, with a 200W motor versatile enough to handle wood, plastic, metal, roughcast and paint. The PEX 220 A's random orbit action moves the abrasive disc in a spiralling pattern, preventing any section of the abrasive from coming into contact with the sanding surface repeatedly, and leaving a smooth, scratch free finish. A number of innovative Bosch features supply outstanding convenience and ease of operation. A velcro-type sandpaper fastening system grips the sanding sheets firmly during use and allows them to be interchanged in seconds; just peel the sheet off and replace it by hand. A vibration absorbing, soft grip coating and ergonomic design optimise grip and improve handling, for accurate sanding performance. Additionally, Bosch's patented microfilter system sucks in 80% of the dust released by sanding, collecting it in a re-usable dust box. When the box fills up, simply empty it out, re-attach it and continue sanding.
